32 Children Graduate from the BLESS Program

On July 19, 2025, thirty-two children from Family Center 1 and Family Center 2 joyfully graduated from the BLESS Program after 8–9 months of focused, faith-filled learning.
The Family Center serves families we meet through our Feeding Program—our first connection with the community. As we share meals, we also begin to understand the deeper needs within each household. Many children and youth are out of school, and some have never even learned to read or write.

The BLESS Program, in partnership with a Christian private school, responds to this need by offering a Bible-based literacy and learning experience. But children and youth in the program don’t just learn how to read and write—they are taught with love, encouraged with purpose, and introduced to the goodness and truth of God’s Word. Each day brings growth not just in academics, but also in faith and character.

During the graduation ceremony, several students were recognized with academic and character awards, celebrating their dedication and transformation throughout the program.

As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Today, many BLESS graduates are now thriving in public schools—walking testimonies of what God can do when hearts are open, opportunities are given, and seeds of hope are planted.

From ABCs to big dreams—what a beautiful BLESSing!
