Maria's Story
When I was seven years old, our mother left us, and I had to take care of my two younger siblings. Our father tried to provide for us, but we often lacked food and water. He fell into depression, started using drugs, and lost hope—until neighbors were able to rescue him on a difficult night.
When we came to CFAI, I was full of pain and anger. But there, I heard about Jesus and His love, and I began to understand that He could heal me. Today, I have found joy, learned to forgive, and I enjoy life with my siblings and friends. Jesus has turned my hopelessness into new hope and has given me a future.
