What a special evening it was! Last Saturday, we had the joy of gathering with many friends and supporters from Germany and Switzerland for an unforgettable night of mission and fellowship. The CFAI Missions Banquet 2025 was far more than just a lovely dinner — it was a powerful testimony of what can happen when people come together to bring hope and transformation.
The evening was filled with inspiring moments: updates from the field in Cebu , moving life stories, heartfelt worship, and meaningful conversations. A particularly impactful part of the evening was the live interviews with two long-standing and deeply committed CFAI team members:
Udim, head of our feeding programs, shared passionately about a bold expansion of our work this past year. CFAI was able to open two new feeding sites — right in the middle of areas marked by deep hopelessness and neglect. Places where street children fight to survive each day, and where drug use is part of daily life.
“We go exactly where no one else wants to look,” she said. “We want to bring light into the darkest corners.”
These locations were not chosen by chance, but through prayer — with open eyes and hearts for the most urgent needs.
Another emotional highlight was the interview with Florilyn, who will be celebrating 30 years on staff with CFAI next month. Her words touched many hearts:
“This is not a job for me — it’s the calling God has given me. And it’s only by His grace that I can still meet each child with love and motivation today.”
Her faithfulness and dedication are a shining example of living hope.
️ The evening concluded with an encouraging message about our calling to be channels of blessing — open to God’s leading and ready to offer our gifts and hearts to be part of real, lasting change. Over dinner, guests wrote personal postcards to the children, shared stories, prayed together, and eagerly participated in the raffle — all to bless and support the work of CFAI.
