Nehemiah Children’s Homes
The Nehemiah Children’s Homes provide a place for neglected, abused and abandoned children. This is a place of protection and rehabilitation from the brokenness of their young lives.
Each, the Boys’ Home and the Girls’ Home are providing shelter for 36 children. Most of the kids in the homes are coming from the streets or have a past of abuse and neglect. According to UNICEF, children in need shall be provided with special provisions and care. In our homes house parents and social workers give good care for the children. They live together in family groups and spend protection and security. This provides an atmosphere where children can grow and develop a sense of belongingness. For many of our kids this is the first time in their lives where they really feel at home.
